Self-help - user guides for clients

There are two ways to work on a treatment on our platform: via an invitation from a professional and via self-help. If you want to work on a treatment independently via self-help you can buy it. You will then have access to the treatment indefinitely.

Some of our treatments are available to work on independently and some are not. You will find the available treatments on the platform by clicking on the 'Self-Help Offers' button. You can try out the first couple of steps for free and then decide if you want to buy the complete treatment. You will be able to add a self-help treatment to a care plan via the following steps.

I already have an account

On your dashboard page you will see the 'Self-Help Offers' button. If you click on that you will get an overview of the treatments that are available for you to work on independently. You can search for a specific treatment by using the search bar or filter on treatments that are targeted at children, youths or adults specifically. 

Selecting a treatment

When you have found a treatment you can add it to your care plan by clicking the plus symbol in the top-right corner. The price of this particular treatment is also listed here. Please keep in mind that self-help treatments are usually not covered by your health insurance plan.

Starting with the treatment

Self-help treatments will be added to their own care plan. You can find this care plan on the Care Plan page. From here you can begin working on the treatment by clicking on the 'Start' button. You will see an introduction about the treatment and you will be able to see the different sessions. To get started click on the 'Start treatment' button.

Payment step

After you have worked through the first couple of steps of the treatment you will encounter a payment step. If you want to work on the rest of the sessions you can now buy the treatment. You can pay via iDeal. If you are having trouble with online banking or if you want to transfer the payment in a different way please contact the Helpdesk. We are happy to help you with that.

I do not have an account yet

If you want to work on a treatment independently via self-help but you do not have an account yet, you can register for one via the login page. We describe the steps you have to follow to create an account in this article: User Guide: Creating an account

Selecting a treatment

Once you have succesfully created your account and are logged in to the platform you can add your first treatment to a care plan. To do this click on the 'All Treatments' button on your dashboard page. After this you can follow the steps as we have described them before starting from 'Selecting a treatment'.
